Example: If you input your weight and dietary preferences, KalCoach uses that data to personalize your nutrition recommendations.

When you use Kalorist or KalCoach, some information is automatically collected:

  • Usage patterns, like which features you use most, to improve performance

C. Data From Third-Party Integrations (Optional)

You may choose to connect third-party health services, such as:

  • Apple Health
  • Google Fit
  • Other similar wellness platforms

If connected, we only access specific, relevant data, like step count, calories burned, or exercise activity.
You can disconnect at any time through your settings.

Important: We do not collect any data from these services unless you explicitly allow it.


D. Location Data

Currently, we do NOT track your location directly.
If we add location-based features in the future (like restaurant recommendations), they will rely on Google Maps API, and you will have full control to enable or disable location sharing.

We only keep basic transaction records for receipts and legal compliance.

  • Our backend runs on Google Cloud, which uses industry-leading security standards
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • We monitor our systems regularly for threats or breaches

Kalorist is based in Delaware, USA.

11. For B2B Clients (Corporate Wellness & API Users)

If you are using Kalorist through your employer, insurer, or another organization:

  • We only share aggregated, non-identifiable data with the organization unless you explicitly give consent for personal-level data sharing.
  • Example: “Company X” might see that “50 employees met their weekly health goals” but not individual details unless you opt-in.

This ensures privacy while supporting corporate wellness initiatives.

12. Account Deletion Request

If you wish to delete your account, please email us at support@kalorist.com with the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

Our team will review and process your request within 24 hours. Once your account is deleted, all personal data associated with it will be permanently removed from our systems, except for any information we are legally required to retain.

We take these requests seriously and prioritize them for immediate attention to ensure your data privacy and security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services grow.
When changes are made, we will:

  • Post the new version in our app and on our website
